Platform & Operations
The day-to-day execution layer for your cloud platform. Two functions working together: Platform owns the baseline, Operations is the daily interface for your team.
Overview
Running a cloud platform day to day requires consistent execution: service requests handled, maintenance carried out, changes implemented correctly, and incidents resolved without gaps. Most teams find that this operational workload either falls on people who should be focused elsewhere, or accumulates into a backlog that creates risk. Seaberry's Platform & Operations service takes that execution layer off your hands.
Platform & Operations operates through two distinct functions working together. The Platform function holds ownership of platform services, architecture, and configuration baselines. It is the authoritative owner of decisions about what exists in your environment and how it is configured. The Operations function executes day-to-day tasks within that baseline and acts as the primary interface for your team: handling requests, responding to incidents, executing approved changes, and maintaining continuity.
The service works closely with Cloud Governance Operations, the Security Operations Center, and the Network Operations Center by executing operational tasks, supporting remediation follow-up, and maintaining continuity across the platform environment.
Where your team requires support deploying services intended for the managed environment, Platform & Operations can provide platform advisory as a separate engagement, covering requirements review, IaC module creation, and deployment guidance.

Platform ownership
The Platform function holds documented ownership of your landing zone structure, shared services, configuration baseline, and platform documentation. Changes are controlled and traceable.
Day-to-day operational execution
Service requests, recurring maintenance, and approved changes are handled by the Operations function within defined response times and change management processes.
Well-Architected by design
Environments are designed and reviewed against the Well-Architected Framework — reliability, security, cost optimisation, operational excellence and performance efficiency — and the review findings become tracked operational work rather than a report that is filed away.
Incident response and follow-up
Incidents affecting the platform are responded to and resolved by Platform & Operations, with coordination to the Network Operations Center and Security Operations Center where relevant and documented follow-up on root causes.
Audit-ready operational record
Change control, capacity planning, patch and lifecycle management follow processes aligned with ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 22301, with CIS baselines applied to platform configuration. The operational record is the audit evidence.
Continuous visibility
Continuous visibility into request volumes, change activity, incidents, and platform health, plus a structured review on a fixed monthly cadence.

FAQ
Seaberry manages the operational and compliance risk of cloud infrastructure for European companies, across networking, security, platform operations, and governance, continuously and with fullaccountability.
The Platform function holds documented ownership of your landing zone structure, shared services, configuration baseline, and platform documentation. Changes are controlled and traceable.
The Platform function owns the platform structure, architecture, configuration baseline, and associated platform decisions.
The Operations function works within that baseline to handle day-to-day requests, changes, incidents, and operational activities. Together, the two functions provide clear ownership while maintaining consistent execution across the environment.
Your team has one contact, one operational interface, and one place for requests and escalations.
This provides a consistent experience while allowing Seaberry to build a deeper understanding of your environment over time. That operational context helps ensure future changes and decisions are better informed.
Day-to-day platform operations are included within the managed Platform & Operations service. Platform advisory is treated as a separate, scoped engagement when your team requires support bringing new services into the managed environment.
The boundary between ongoing platform operations and advisory work is clearly defined during onboarding and maintained throughout the engagement.
